Our
Story

Get to Know Us

Led by young professionals of East African descent, YEA  knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2015, our Non-Profit Organization realized that by working together as a community we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Canadian Youth of East Africa with a focus on Community Building, Mentorship and Career Development.

Our Pillars

Our pillars are built on our mission to mobilize , motivate and mentor young people of East African descent in Canada. These pillars aim to create leadership development opportunities, improve career development resources, and foster community pride and engagement. Our goal is to empower youth to flourish and make positive contributions to society.
